Leitão & Irmão has created a collection of silver dogs that honours man's best friend - the dog.
For the 2023 edition, Leitão & Irmão workshops have created a replica of the fun French Bulldog.
French Bulldog
The French Bulldog is a fun-loving dog, full of life and affectionate towards his family. He's so brave that he often thinks he's bigger than he really is.
The Miniature Bulldog was a popular companion for lace makers in the Midlands in the United Kingdom. This was a time when it was common for dogs to accompany workers to the factories.
Some labourers emigrated to France with their dogs and pets. Over time, they crossed their dogs with dogs with shorter muzzles to create the French Bulldog as we know it today.

Leitão & Irmão pieces are of their own design, developed and manufactured in the Leitão & Irmão workshops in Lisbon according to the most rigorous jewellery, goldsmithing and silverware techniques, with expertise passed down from generation to generation over 200 years of existence.
All the pieces are signed Leitão & Irmão, marked with the manufacturer's punch and certified by the INCM National Assay Office.
Some works are numbered and signed by the artist who created them.
