where quality and workmanship reflect the detail and perseverance that lead to victory.

The passion for the club is matched by a love for the excellence of Portuguese know-how.
The 120th anniversary of Sport Lisboa e Benfica is more than enough reason for Leitão & Irmão to create a special piece to commemorate this milestone.
The years go by, but the club's iconic element remains: the Eagle. The eagle was the inspiration and model for the creation of a piece that is intended to embody the emotional greatness of the club for each fan.

Designed by sight by Casa Leitão's resident sculptor, the Victoria eagle was later sculpted in wax and transformed into silver using the "lost wax" technique, an ancient goldsmithing technique commonly used in the Leitão & Irmão workshops.
After being transformed into silver, the piece follows a variety of goldsmithing techniques such as bench work and the application of chisels, a technique that gives the piece expression.

O estojo de exposição e a base foram desenvolvidos pelo departamento de design da Casa Leitão em conjunto com o Sport Lisboa e Benfica, na intensão de proporcionar à peça um espaço que engradece a peça e passa a emoção Benfica.

The piece is packaged in a display case with space for the piece and information about Sport Lisboa e Benfica's club anthems.

Only 12 numbered pieces, in a limited, commemorative and official edition of the 120th anniversary of Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
